Firstly, we notice the cable management system; we know that charging cable is much heavier than refueling cable in gas stations due to the raw material; what's more, is that the staff will insert the refueling cable for you at the gas station, but you need to insert the charging cable by yourself when you are at the charging station. Especially for female drivers, it is too heavy to insert the charging cable, so we decided to add a cable management system to our charger; it will be easy for EV car drivers to insert the charging cable. Also, CPOs(Charge Point Operators) always found that charging cables without management systems would drag on the ground, even if car drivers had already put them in the right place after the charging process. This looks messy, and the cable can easily get dirty. That's the reason we need a cable management system on the charger.
Secondly, it is about appearance; in order to save space, we designed the charger to be an ultra-thin model. The heat is dissipated from both sides, so placing it as close to the wall is no problem; this design will save a lot of space if you put chargers next to the wall. At the same time, considering the height restrictions, transportation costs, and the charger's maximum compatible power, we designed it as small as possible; the maximum power rate is 240kW. We firmly believe the simpler designs are more useful, so the charger looks very simple and elegant. A constant light on the top can guide the EV car driver to come over for charging at night. However, we already have an APP with Google Maps for guidance; not every car driver will download our APP to seek a charger so that this design may attract new customers for CPOs. During the design period, we found that some countries require MID-meters to be visible to the car driver, so we put two MID-meters on both sides and made them visible to the car driver so they can check how many kWs they use to charge their car.
Last but not least, let's talk about the inside design. We make a guide rail design internally, making it easy to maintain. Once some components are broken, you need to replace them with a new one; it is very convenient and reliable. In order to better monitor and operate charging stations, we have placed sensors inside many core components, so once there is any issue with the charger, it will report to the OCPP platform alarm management. For example, suppose someone pushes the emergency button and makes the charger unavailable. In that case, it will show an error code like "E-stop” on the OCPP platform, and then CSOs(Charging Station Owners) will know the issue and react quickly to make the charger available for car drivers.
